What Patients
Should Know
Before Treatment

  • Patients should bring a printed copy or email the most recent X-Ray prior to your initial evaluation

  • Wear clothing that can easily display the spine (bathing suit, sports bra or cami)

  • Patients should bring their brace, if applicable

What Will
Patients Learn During Treatment

Patients will learn about their curve pattern and how

their body compensates. They will learn scoliosis specific exercises to help elongate and de-rotate their spine. They will learn postural awareness so that they learn to live outside of their curve. They will also learn best sitting and standing posture, as well as backpack safety. Lastly, they will be provided a core stabilization program to strengthen the muscles that help support the spine.
